Shows allot of potential, I think the animations feel really stiff, but the art is beautiful to behold. I couldn't beat the boss, and I blame the hitbox doing repeat damage. When I stand in front of the boss I can't get away in time, or deal enough damage to kill it, and with the bow I can't tell how much damage I'm doing. The mechanic of having to put away your weapon to jump higher is interesting, and I like the super jump.
Thanks for playing and commenting, animation is definitely not my strong point but glad you liked the "static" art, hopefully my next project will have a bit more fluid movement, but it's a slow learning curve.
If you have found the bow power up (are you firing red arrows) the boss is a lot easier, though there is no end of game screen yet, so you are not missing anything by not killing them....
this was originally a Jam game, and it's still in a very incomplete state.
